Tom Seidl joins OSF Merchant Banking Alternative Capital Strategies Team.

OSF Merchant Banking with over 30 years experience and substantial presence of its founders in Brazil, working with predominately European and US clients and investors, complements its long-term relationship track record with the addition of Tom Seidl to its team.

“After having spent my entire career in corporate and investment banking with American and European international banks it was time to take advantage of moving to a position where independent senior advice and thinking outside the box was welcomed. The OSF Merchant Banking Alternative Capital Strategies Team is focused on hands-on debt & equity funding advice and financial restructuring of complex JV’s or foreign holdings”.

“At OSF Merchant Banking the client is always our focus. We partner with clients and build a solid understanding of their needs long before a meeting or a contact with a banker or an investor is scheduled. We advise on preparation of presentation materials, roadshow materials or prepare and coach the management for meetings with debt and equity investors. We analyze with our team the implicit equity strengths and credit risks, supporting clients through the negotiation processes of terms and conditions for any financial contract. We provide alternative routes to value enhancing closing conditions“.

“Hands on advice is what we stand for at OSF Merchant Banking and not league table driven product sale approaches” emphasizes Hans J. Apostel, founder of OSF Merchant Banking: “Our clients are industrial corporations, private equity partnerships and institutions with complex international holdings, asking for a trusted independent advisor and partner. We are very pleased to have Tom on board of our team. He has spent 25 years in banking as a Managing Director and has a thorough understanding of financials markets, risks and opportunities”.

About Tom Seidl: Tom has a degree from Business University of Vienna and a post graduate degree from INSEAD. He worked for Citigroup and Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank in several European countries. He splits his time between Europe and Brazil.
