A GROUP OF INVESTORS LED BY HARALD ROENN, PARTNER OF OSF MERCHANT BANKING, HAS ACQUIRED MUSTANG JEANS

A group of investors led by Harald Roenn, partner of OSF Merchant Banking, has acquired Mustang Jeans, the oldest jeans brand in Europe.

Harald Roenn, a Brazilian, based in Germany for the past 17 years and one of the most successful private equity professionals in Europe, acquired with a group of investors Mustang Jeans headquartered in Kuenzelsau, Germany, with subsidiaries in Moscow and Hong Kong.

Mustang was the first brand of jeans to be manufactured in Europe, starting production in 1948. The company partnered with several other prestigious brands such as JOOP and Willy Bogner.

Mustang Jeans expects revenues of EUR 127 million in 2011. As part of a strong international expansion plan, acquisition opportunities in Brazil will be a priority. Harald Roenn participated in significant acquisitions and IPOs in the fashion industry with brands such as Tom Tailor and Basler, a leading woman's wear retailer.

OSF Merchant Banking (www.osfmb.com) was founded by financier Hans J. Apostel and other veteran professionals.
